About Compounded Medications
Compounded formulations are custom-prepared for individual patients by state-licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded drug products are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and are not generic versions or FDA-approved equivalents of any brand-name medication. Important Considerations Before Treatment
All medications carry risks and potential side effects, and certain medications are not appropriate for people with particular medical conditions, for people taking certain other medications, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. During your online evaluation, a licensed healthcare provider will review your health history and discuss the risks, benefits, and alternatives relevant to any treatment considered for you. It is important that you answer all intake questions completely and accurately
Side Effects
If you experience unexpected or concerning symptoms while using any treatment, contact your provider promptly. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Reporting an Adverse Event
If you experience an adverse reaction to any product received through Improve Wellness, please report it to us at contact@improvewellnessmiami.com or 305.427.8609. Include your name, the product, and a description of the reaction. Our team reviews every report and escalates it to the prescribing provider and dispensing pharmacy as appropriate.
